Jason Shoats
Assistant Coach NCDC & Premier
Jason Shoats, based in Boca Raton, Florida, is entering his 31st year of coaching, with experience ranging from Travel A to Tier I tournament teams. He returns to the Coral Springs Jr. Cats coaching staff for the upcoming season, stepping into a new role as an Assistant Coach for both the NCDC and Premier squads after serving as the team’s Elite Head Coach last season. A former AAA high school, junior, and professional roller hockey player, Coach Shoats has won multiple SAHOF State Championships throughout his distinguished career.
Previously, he has worked with Tier I, Junior, and NHL players during the off-season. As the founder of the Redline Hockey Academy, a non-profit organization in South Florida, Shoats is dedicated to enhancing hockey performance and shaping the future of hockey in South Florida while instilling critical life skills on and off the ice, such as dedication, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
