Ty Kukielka

Ty Kukielka returns for his second season on the coaching staff of the Coral Springs Jr. Cats, bringing a rich background of elite playing experience to the organization. Originally from Yorkville, Illinois, Kukielka began his hockey journey at just four years old, developing his skills playing youth hockey for the Sabre, Huskies, and Hawks. He later launched an impressive four-year Junior hockey career, making his debut with the Dyer Blackbirds in Indiana.
Following his rookie year, Kukielka transitioned to the Florida Division, where he spent his final three seasons as a standout junior player. This stint included two productive seasons with the Florida Jr. Blades— where he served as an Alternative Captain during his second year—and a final, impactful season with the Bold City Battalion.
After successfully making the transition behind the bench last season, Kukielka is excited to continue his coaching journey in Florida and help drive the next wave of player development for the Jr. Cats.
