The Coral Springs Jr. Cats have announced the signing of defenseman Jaxson George, adding a towering, mobile presence to the team’s blue line for the upcoming USPHL season.

A Coral Springs, FL native, George stands 6’4″ and 171 lbs, giving the Jr. Cats a rare combination of size and reach on defense. He shoots left and plays the left side, and his game blends physicality with the mobility to move pucks and join the rush when the opportunity is there.

George brings 11 years of hockey experience to the Jr. Cats blue line, developing into a well-rounded defenseman who is physical and capable of moving the puck up ice. Off the ice, George also competes in varsity volleyball and has a passion for cooking for family and friends.

With his combination of size, hockey IQ, and physical edge, George projects as a key piece of the Jr. Cats’ defensive corps as the team continues to build toward the next level of junior and college hockey.
