The Coral Springs Jr. Cats are proud to announce the signing of forward Aiden Newman for the upcoming USPHL Premier season, bringing the Coral Springs, FL native back into the organization for a second consecutive year.

Newman, a 5’11”, 170-pound center, offers a steady, two-way presence that coaches look for down the middle. He’ll again suit up in No. 20 for Premier this season, a number he’ll look to make his own as he continues to grow.

Having already spent a year in the program, Newman is a familiar face to the coaching staff and his teammates. He arrives to camp not as a newcomer trying to find his footing, but as a player who already understands the systems, the expectations, and the standard the Jr. Cats hold themselves to. That head start matters, and it’s a big part of why the organization expects him to take on a bigger role as he continues to develop at the Premier level.

“We’re glad to have Aiden back in the lineup for another season,” the Jr. Cats organization said. “He knows the culture here, he’s put in the work, and we’re excited to see him build on his first year with the program. Bringing players back for a second year is exactly the kind of continuity we want to build this organization around.”

As the Jr. Cats continue to build out their Premier roster for the coming season, Newman’s return signals the kind of stability and internal growth the program has prioritized — developing players over multiple seasons rather than year-to-year turnover.
