Artem Tumbusov has officially signed a tender with the Coral Springs Jr Cats, securing a highly anticipated spot on the organization’s NCDC roster. Born in Omsk, Russia, the towering 6’3”, 202-pound left-handed defenseman brings a premier blend of massive physical size, smooth skating, and a championship pedigree to the South Florida blue line.

A Proven National Champion

Tumbusov lands in Coral Springs with an elite resume, highlighted by his status as a 2024-25 USA Hockey National Champion (16U AA). He spent his subsequent development tracking with the Islanders Hockey Club West 16U program, where he proved to be an absolute workhorse, exploding for an incredible 60 points (20 goals, 40 assists) and a dominant +28 rating in 66 games. His ability to heavily impact the scoresheet while shutting down the opposition’s top offensive weapons makes him a lethal two-way asset.

Tumbusov officially earned his tender after turning heads at the Jr Cats’ First Look Camp, where coaches were instantly blown away by his smooth skating mechanics and relentless work ethic.
