Steven Eberhardt // Defenseman

Steven Eberhardt (#92) has officially re-signed with the Coral Springs Jr Cats, returning to the organization with a well-earned promotion to the NCDC roster. Born in 2007 in Seaford, New York, the 5’11”, 176-pound left-handed blue-liner returns to South Florida after establishing himself as one of the most reliable and impactful players in the entire organization, while sporting his signature #92 jersey.

An Dominant, Plus-30 Shutdown Anchor

Eberhardt earned his Tier II NCDC promotion on the heels of a spectacular, championship-caliber third season in the junior ranks. Patrolling the blue line for 44 regular-season games, he racked up 18 points (3 goals, 15 assists) while proving to be an absolute statistical force. Most notably, Eberhardt finished the campaign as a +30 on the season, a testament to his high-end situational awareness, shutdown positioning, and flawless play in his own zone. His performance made him a crucial piece of the Jr Cats’ division-winning team.

Taking the Blue Line to Tier II

Elevating his game to the NCDC level, Eberhardt provides the Jr Cats with a battle-tested defenseman who can handle top-line minutes under heavy forecheck pressure. His ability to shut down high-danger transition plays and execute clean zone exits will be a vital anchor for the defensive core this season.
