Hunter Kifer // Forward

Hunter Kifer (#7) has officially re-signed with the Coral Springs Jr Cats, returning to the lineup with a dynamic new challenge for the upcoming season. Standing at 5’10” and weighing 165 pounds, the Summerville, South Carolina native is elevating his game to the NCDC tier. After starring on the blue line, Kifer is set to transition his elite athletic toolkit to anchor the forward group at left wing.

Making the Leap to the NCDC

Kifer’s promotion to the NCDC level highlights his exceptional hockey IQ, premier versatility, and rapid developmental trajectory. Spanning three intense junior seasons, he has surpassed 100 regular-season games and logged critical postseason experience. Having already racked up an impressive 22 goals and 21 assists while playing defense, his natural offensive instincts, heavy shot, and relentless work ethic make him a lethal threat as a full-time Tier II forward.

Kifer’s meticulous preparation and unshakeable focus previously earned him an Assistant Captain designation for the division-winning Jr Cats Premier squad. His dedication is fueled by a deep family legacy—inspired by his grandfather, who first laced up his skates at age four, and his father, whose ultimate competitive nature he strives to mimic daily. As he steps onto the NCDC roster, Kifer remains dedicated to his ultimate goal: being remembered as a great leader and an even better teammate.
